Class Details: Instructor: Joan Bikowski, local quilt maker When: Saturday, October 22, 2022 This is an all-day workshop, beginning at _9 AM-4 PM_, 6-7 hours in duration. You may bring a sack lunch or pick up something locally. Class Supplies: - Sewing machine with an accurate 1/4? foot - Dresden Plate ruler - Rotary cutter, mat, and 6? x 12? ruler - Basic sewing and quilting notions: pins, neutral thread, scissors, seam ripper, and whatever you find indispensable - Variety of fabrics with contrasting colors, patterns, stripes, ? yard minimum each

APPLIQUE!! Antoinette?s is offering an Applique Class featuring Scatter Love Throughout the Year by The Whole Country Caboodle taught by Shelly Luedtke on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM at Antoinette?s Quilt Shop. The classes will begin on September 21st. If you are new to applique or seasoned to the applique method, we would love to have you join us for the fun 12-month raw applique class. You have the option of participating in all 12 months or to pick and choose. The monthly kits come with all precut fused applique pieces, simplifying the process. You will learn how to decoratively finish the blocks using straight, zig-zag, blanket, and satin stitch techniques. The cost of each class is $15.00 and the cost of each kit is $15.50. You have the option to SAVE by purchasing all 12 pre-cut applique kits for $150.00 and the cost of each class will reduce to $12.50 each. November 19th, 2022 at 10 A.M. Barn Quilt Class! Back by popular demand! Learn how to make your own barn quilt, 24" x 24", with instructor Jill Radzinski at Smiley's Banquet Hall in Plover. A light lunch is included. All supplies are included, all you will need is a 6"x24" ruler, craft light, and a hair dryer. The cost of the class is $88.00.

Beginning Quilting Class! Starting September 13th, 2022 through December 6th, 2022 Class will be held every other Tuesday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. You will need the Beginning Quilting with Alex Anderson Book that is available at the shop for $14.95 plus tax. You will also need a working sewing machine, thread, rotary cutter, 6" x 12" or 6" x 24" ruler, and scissors for clipping threads. The first class sewing machines will not be needed. For those that love Halloween, this class is for you. Boo Buddies! Boo Buddies is a pattern by Happy Hallow Designs. It is raw edge applique. The pattern includes the embellishments, and you pick your fabrics for this design. The class will take place on Saturday, October 8th, from 10 AM- 4 PM at Antoinette?s Quilt Shop. It will be taught by Shelley Luedke, who will teach you how to machine applique using straight stitches, zig-zag, blanket, and satin stitches to enhance the design. The cost of the class is $40.00. Seating is limited.

Breakfast Brunch works like this, purchase 3 yards of a chosen line at Antoinette's Quilt shop and 3 yards that are chosen from your stash. Your individual 6 yards will be put into a container and we will switch containers each month. Everyone will make a 12" x 12" block of their choice for their own quilt using fabric from the container they receive each month. This will be a 12-month process. Should you miss a meeting, no worries, we will keep track of where you are so you can catch up. We hope this will be a lot of fun for all of us. Participants can choose to bring breakfast treats if they choose to. It will be held on the third Tuesday of each month. It will begin on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:00 AM at Antoinette's Quilt Shop. The Grandmother's Flower is the most recognizable English Paper Pieced pattern and the basis for many traditional and modern designs. Class Details: Instructor: Joan Bikowski, local quilt maker When: _October 15, 2022__ This workshop begins from 9 AM until 4 PM and is 6-7 hours in duration. We will explore thread and glue basting, fussy cutting, and different stitches. Class Materials: - We will be working with a kit from Paper Pieces; however, you may opt to bring your own fabrics (1) 2? square for the center and (6) 2? squares for the flower. - I prefer to use Tulip Applique Needles #11 for joining pieces together and a fine sewing needle for thread basting - Contrasting thread for basting (use grandma's old threads or odd colors) - Matching thread of your choice for joining pieces together - Small sharp scissors - Glue Pen or washable school glue stick - Thread Magic, Bees Wax or the thread conditioner of your choice - Small Wonder Clips

The pattern of shop choice is Macaw by Judy Niemeyer with Quiltworx. Your instructor is Jodie Madison who is a certified Judy Niemeyer instructor. She will guide you through the assembly of the beautiful 57" x 57" quilt. The class will be held at the Comfort Inn on October 1st, 2nd, and 22nd from 9AM- 5PM. You will receive a pattern and supply list for the class. The cost of the class $275.00 Class fees are non-refundable unless you can find a replacement for your spot.

Riverside Knoll is here! This beautiful pattern uses Kim Diehl?s Right as Rain fabrics with rich yellows, greens, burgundy, browns, and creams. The blocks are easy to piece and the center is highlighted with a beautiful appliqued motif. The size of the quilt is approximately 62? x 62?. This is a 6-month sew-along at your own pace. All of the monthly installments have been pre-recorded for you, allowing you to pause and replay as many times as you wish with purchase. Antoinette?s Quilt Shop November 2022 Retreat It is so exciting to think about retreat again. This retreat will be held at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt from noon November 10th to noon on November 13th. We have rented the large Dining Hall facility with wonderful windows, tables, and lots of room. This is by far our best location including a beautiful setting for being creative in our projects. The best part Is, you can stay right on location with rooms that are steps away from the Dining Hall. Included in your $160.00 registration fee are three dinner meals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday catered in by the Bunny Hop Caf? in Junction City. There will be a Wool and Wool Quilt Presentation by Luella Doss on Saturday morning. Luella is an energizer and fun presenter. Any of you that have met Luella at various quilt shows know how fun many of her projects are. She will be bringing some of her kits to sell. She will also do a bed turning later that day. There are many other games and demos planned. We are so excited to have reasonably priced lodging, while not hotel quality it allows us to be right next door to where we are sewing. The cost of the Health Lodge is $50.00 per night

Please bring your own padlock if you wish. The duplexes have multiple showers and toilets for your convenience. The cost of the duplex per night is $30.00.
